About

People say things stick because of how I work.

I'm a designer with engineering roots. I spend most of my time turning fuzzy product questions into things you can click, then into things you can actually ship.

My favorite work happens at the messy front of the funnel — when a team has a hunch and twelve open tabs and no one knows what they're building yet. I'm good in that room. I prototype quickly, name the tradeoffs out loud, and stay in the weeds long enough to keep the details honest.

I'm currently studying Cog Sci + CS at UC Davis and designing with the Codelab × Google research cohort. Outside of that, I'm usually playing tennis, building dream homes in Minecraft, or making HK style milk tea, matchas, or hojicha lattes at home.

Prototype before slides.

I'd rather argue with a clickable thing than a deck. The deck shows up later, with the screenshots.

The research has to land somewhere.

Findings should change a screen, not just a slide. I track each insight to the artifact it produces.

Systems beat heroics.

One polished hero screen is easy. A reusable pattern that survives three PMs is the actual deliverable.

What's in my ears

The soundtrack to whatever I'm making.

I make a playlist for every project. Here's three moodlists I keep coming back to: songs that inspire me to explore and create.
